Q：Ubuntu-11.04（AMD64）→Ubuntu-11.10（AMD64）へ入れ替えを行ったところ、
　今まで使用出来ていた動画プレイヤー（totem）でのDLNA機能が使用できなくなりました。

<ハードウェア構成>：
CPU:AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 250
RAM:8GB
HDD:500GB
NIC:RTL8111/8168B
Video:Radion HD4250
DLNA Server:Buffalo LinkStation LS-CHL175

「totem-plugin-extra」は適用済みなのですが、編集→プラグインを参照しても、
「コヒーレンス　DLNA/UPnPクライアント」の項目が見当たりません。

http://packages.ubuntu.com/ja/oneiric/totem-plugins-extra のページでは、
関連パッケージとしてpython-coherence（Python UPnP framework）の記載があります。

おそらくUPnPには対応しているのだと思いますが、今は他に情報が無いため、
仕方なく再生したいファイルを直接開いて使用しています。

どなたか同じような現象を経験された方で、解決方法をご存知でしたら、
ご教示いただければと存じます。

Ubuntu-11.10はまだリリースされたばかりなので、もしかしたら今後対応するのかも
しれませんが、ご親切な方からの情報をお待ちしております。

本件については、未だ解決できておりませんが、ダメもとで、Ubuntu本家のフォーラムにも投稿してみたところ、
32bit版でも同じ問題が発生しているとの情報を得ることができました。

Ubuntu 11.10の「totem-plugins-extra」パッケージからcoherence_upnpがなくなった（現状では他でも用意されていない）のが使用できない原因で、理由はchangelogに書かれている下記のようです。

また、同パッケージソースの「debian/control」を見ると「totem-coherence」パッケージとして分離させようとしているように見受けられます。

返信が返信が遅くなりましたが、レスをいただきありがとうございます。

自分でもchangelogを参照してみましたが、レスに書かれていたとおりで、
coherence_upnpの機能が無くなっているみたいですね。

totemのマニュアル（totem→ヘルプ→目次→Plugins）を辿ると、
"Coherence DLNA/UPnP Client"の項目があって、いかにもDLNAの機能が
利用できそうな感じで書かれているので、少し期待をしていたのですが、
しばらく状況を見守るしかなさそうですね。

自己レスですが、先日アップデートを行なった際に、「totem-plugins-extra」のアップデートが含まれていたので、
その時の情報を記載いたします。

＜アップデートの情報（原文そのまま）＞
Totem is a simple yet featureful media player for GNOME which can read a large number of file formats.
This package contains an extra set plugins for Totem, which allow to:
* Annotate the screen with the Gromit tool
* Have a DLNA/UPnP client for Totem powered by Coherence
* Stream BBC programs Additional plugins can be written in C, Python or Vala.

結果としては、状況は何も変わらずDLNAの機能は使えないままです。

上記の原文（下から2行目）が、先日Templerさんがおっしゃっていた別パッケージへ分離？という
内容に合致すると思われますので、本件については一旦クローズにしていただければと存じます。

今後ともよろしくお願いいたします。
