[解決済み]画面がおかしくなる

OS:Ubuntu 8.04 amd64
compiz 1:0.7.4-0ubuntu7

作業をしていると、突然、ウィンドウが固まります。ブラウザならブラウザの画面内のどこを押しても反応ありません。compizでウィンドウを動かしたりするとウィンドウが震えるようにしているのですが、固まったときにウィンドウ内をクリックすると一瞬震えます。
また、ウィンドウ上部にある閉じる、最小化、最大化のボタンはおかしくなったときも使えます。
あと、フォルダの中を見たりすることは可能です。右上のログアウトやシャットダウンのボタンも使えます。
ログインしなおすと直ります。

これはX window Systemがおかしいのでしょうか?compizが原因なのでしょうか?

上記の症状が出る直前にビープ音がなります。音はスピーカーからではなく、PCの本体から出ています。

とりあえず X のトラブルで助言を得るためのヒントを。

異常を起こしたときの /var/log/Xorg.0.log を BBCode のcodeタグで囲って貼り付けると助言を得やすいハズ。ハードウェアのトラブルのときはコマンド dmesg の結果を、画面の異常のときは /var/log/Xorg.0.log を覗くとエラーメッセージから問題解決のヒントを得られると思います :) 。エラーメッセージをキーにウェブ検索をかければ自己解決も可能な場合が多いです ;) 。なお、自己解決した場合でもフォーラムや KaizenProject などに「こういう問題があってこうしたら解決したよ」って投稿をして頂ければ同じ問題に悩む人の助けになりますので、気が向いたらどうぞよろしく。

ところで、/var/log/Xorg.0.log には冒頭に「Current Operating System:」の記述がありますが、インストール時にPCの名前に自分の名前をいれているとここに自分の名前が入るので注意。さらしたくないならその部分だけ編集して貼り付けると良いかも。

今回の事例なら、異常が起きたときに Ctrl+Alt+BackSpace で X を強制再起動し再ログインしてから /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old の内容を貼り付けると良いかも。(/var/log/Xorg.0.log は今起動中の X のログ、 /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old は前回の X 使用時のログです。)

あとは、Compiz がらみの問題なら Compiz を OFF にすれば問題が発生しないはずなのでそれで差し当たり問題を回避して使用してはどうでしょう。いちいちウィンドウが固まっていては作業になりませんし。 :P

※私はこの時期あんまり頻繁にネットにつなげないのでどなたかフォローお願いします。

症状がでると何もできなくなるので復帰の方法が分かって安心しました。
今度おかしくなったらxのログを貼ってみます。

見たところ Warning メッセージはありますが Error メッセージはないようで。

意訳:
キリル文字フォントがみつからないから読み込まないよ!
・マウスのデバイスを教えられていないから探すね!

どーってことないメッセージです。となると原因は Compiz か。

以下が Ubuntu の Compiz のバグ報告の URL です。

ざっと眺めてみると類似のバグが投稿されていました。

使えそうな情報は「acpi や apm 切ったらなおったよ」と、「それやったらやばいんじゃね?」の辺のやりとりでしょうか。

問題を回避する方法はのってますが、その回避方法が別の問題を引き起こしかねない様子。

よって、僕が現時点で提案できる一番安全な問題の回避策は Compiz 無し生活です(・・・切ない)。

「ま、将来的には解決するだろう」と楽観しておくと気が楽です ;) 。


https://bugs.launchpad.net ここで Ubuntu に報告されたバグを閲覧出来ます。

困ったらまずここで検索をかけるのがおすすめです。国際的なアプリの場合は大抵既に誰かが同じバグにやられているので情報が手に入りやすいです。逆にというかやはりというか、日本語環境固有の問題は(使っている人数の問題で)報告例が少ないために見つけにくいですが。報告が国際公用語である英語なのが慣れないと面倒くさいかな?

僕は田舎出身なので日常からして「標準語がぁ!がぁ!」です。公用語とか標準語ってキライ・・・って言っていられないのがつらい :( 。せめて日本語が国際公用語だったらよかったのに!いや、むしろ南会津の訛りが国際公用語であって欲しかったっ!!

まだ解決されていないバグなんですね。そのうち修正されることを祈ります。
compizが原因なのはわかったんですが、compizがないとvisualが寂しくなるので今後も使いつづけようと思います。

わざわざご指摘してくださったのにすいません。

追伸
このバグは半透明の設定をオフにしたらほとんど症状がでなくなりました。
なので同じ症状で苦しんでいる方がいらしたらこの設定をオフにしてください。
