810の砂嵐画面が直らない

以前、同じ症状でトピックを立てたのですが、その時は自己解決で済んだと思っていましたが
どうも調子が悪く、お知恵を拝借出来ましたら幸です。

ubuntu810で症状として下記のトピックと同様に砂嵐になります。

810にはdispayconfig-gtkが無いので、804用物を810へインストールして設定した方が良さそうでしょうか?
ただ、nVidia X Server Settingsで解像度は正常に変更出来ることから、出来ることでしたら余分な物は不具合要因
になりそうなので避けたいのですが・・・

状況としては、1024×768まで解像度を下げても変わらずです。システム〜デスクトップの設定側で設定しても同様に変わらず

また、OS起動後は文字入力欄やボタン部分等に砂嵐が表示されているのですが、都度nVidia X Server Settings
を起動するとそちらで設定したX Server Color Correctionが反映されて砂嵐は消えます。(画面がボケている感じになりますが)
解像度は1400×1050/Autoから1280×1024/Autoにxorg.confを編集し設定してあるので
こちらはリブートしても反映されています。

スペックは以下の通りです。

 ログの見方は画面解像度がデフォルトと変更後の内容が設定されていた程度しか分かりませんが・・・

810にはdispayconfig-gtkが無いので、804用物を810へインストールして設定した方が良さそうでしょうか?
ただ、nVidia X Server Settingsで解像度は正常に変更出来ることから、出来ることでしたら余分な物は不具合要因になりそうなので避けたいのですが・・・

結論からいうと止めた方が賢明です。
Xsystemの仕様変更で?新しいX.sysのツールを作っているようですが,間に合わなかったらしく、本家のフォーラムでも解決法がアナウンスされていないようです。(推測文で申し訳ありません)

ダメ元のつもりで、guidance-backends080を入れてからdisplayconfig-gtk0310を入れてみました。
結果は変わらずの意味無しでした。

Xorg.confを設定保存してもX Server Color Correctionの情報は保存されず都度X Server Settingsを起動しなければ認識されず
OSリブートすると情報が一旦失われてOS起動後に再度実行しなければ砂嵐は直らない状況下です。

Section "Device" のところに、
Option           "NoAccel"
を加えてみても駄目でしょうか?

xorg.confのSection "Device"へ上記のOption値を設定してみましたが、変わらずでした。

今のところ都度X Server Color Correctionで認識させなければ砂嵐は直らない状況なのですが、
このX Server Color Correctionの情報をOS起動時に読み込めるようなシェルまたは、設定情報ファイルを直接弄ってみようかと
ネットで設定ファイルのありかを検索しているのでが、全くわかりません…

BIOS画面まで砂嵐なのでハードの不具合かと試しに別のディストリビューションとWindowsの両方をマシンに入れてみた結果、
画面は正常に戻りました うーん…

ご無沙汰しております。

色々とネットで情報を探した結果
TOSHIBAのノートPC製品で多発しているディスプレイの欠陥(東芝は欠陥と認めず)だということがわかりました。

ご回答の皆様色々と貴重な情報ありがとうございました。
この機でXorg.confなどディスプレイに関する多くの知識を得ることが出来ました。
