webカメラが認識されません

UBUNTU12.04LTSをインストールしたのですが、

内臓WEBカメラが認識されません。

パソコンは、vaio VGC-LB５０です。

Ubuntuソフトウェアセンターで「Cheese」がインストール済みか確認して下さい。
なければ上記センターで検索してインストールしてください。
14.04のRemix版では標準的にパッケージに含まれていて起動するだけで型式は違いますがVAIOのVGN-CR90HSでは認識しました。

cheeseはインストール済みですが、何も写りません。

ディバイスがみつかりません。

このフォーラムの右上隅の検索で「vaio webcam」で検索すると冒頭の記事のMocchi氏の回答にこのような内容があります。

実は先にお伝えしたVideo4Linux（v4l）ですが、バージョン1とバージョン2があります。今や多くのウェブカメラやソフトウェアが
バージョン2に移行していて、今回使っているウェブカメラに対応するカーネルモジュールも、バージョン2に基づいているようです。

これは朗報。原因がはっきりしました。

Isusbの値で

bInterfaceClass=255 Vendor Specific Class

この値が全く同じなので原因は同じだと思います。この時にはCheeseで問題なく映像が出力されていたとあります。
試していただきたいのはVideo4Linux（現バージョンは2.0.2-4）をソフトウェアセンターで検索してインストールした結果
を教えてください。
