1.状況

linux-image-3.2.0-63-genericのアップデートに失敗し、その後suto apt-get -f installもできません。
その他いろいろやってみましたが改善しません。
対処の仕方を教えていただけると幸いです。

2.発端

Update Managerにkernelのアップデート通知が出ていたのでアップデートしたところ、
Update Managerが次のようなメッセージ(GUI)を出してアップデートに失敗しました。

3.やってみたこと

apt-get -f  installを実行すると、以下のようにエラーになってしまいます。

上記のメッセージ中の
「Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them.」
に従うと、以下のようになってしまいます。

また、同メッセージ中に

とあるので、
空き容量(sudo df --block-size=M)で見てみましたが、
/libに関係の空き容量が払底してはいないようです。
(/imgはISOの置き場所なのでギリギリまで使い切っていますが・・・)

以前旧kernelイメージが/bootに残っていて同じような現象になったので、
旧イメージの削除(sudo apt-get purge linux-image～)を試みたのですが、
以下のようになって消せません。

purgeではなく、旧kernelイメージを個別にrmしてみましたが、
apt-get -f installの実行結果に変化はありませんでした。

4.環境

ubuntu 12.04 LTS DeskTop 64bitをインストールして今まで使ってきました。
