ubuntu 14.04 で texmaker 4.1 を使用しています。現在のバージョンは 4.3 にアップデート作業を行ったところエラーが発生し成功しません。
作業は次を行いました。

1. http://www.xm1math.net/texmaker/download.html からダウンロードした。
　Ubuntu 14.04 Qt5 amd64 package : texmakerQT5_ubuntu_14.04_4.3_amd64.deb (Qt5)
　と
　Ubuntu 14.04 amd64 package : texmaker_ubuntu_14.04_4.3_amd64.deb (Qt4)

2. 右クリックして、ソフトウェアセンターでインストールをクリック。インストール作業中にエラーが発生する。
２個ともエラーが発生して成功しない。

ご存知の方にお願いします。解決方法を教えてください。

追加質問
Qt4 と Qt5 のうちどちらを選べはよいのか、選択条件を教えていただければ幸いです。

取りあえず、出たエラーメッセージはコピペするなりしないと手の出しようがないです。
あと他の型の投稿を観ると14.04はQt5っぽいです。（これは嘘かもしれません）

を右クリックし、ソフトウェアセンターでアップデートを行いました。
メッセージは以下です。

その後　もう一台のpc にUbuntu14.04 をクリーンインストールしたので、　texmaker 4.3 を Gebi でインストールを行ったところ成功した。

インストールが失敗する pc で texmaker 4.1 を Symantic で削除した後に
再度　v4.3 のインストールを試みたところ　次のエラーメッセージが現れた。

Symantic で gdebi と gdebi-core を再インストールした後、 Gdebi で v4.3 をインストールしたところ成功しました。
これから推測すると古い gdebi と gdebi-core に不整合があったことになります。
目的は達成されました。
