「ファイル /media/hda1/grub/menu.lst を開けませんでした。
権限がありません。」

と、メッセージが出てubuntu側から私には開くことができませんでした。

ubuntuの「gksudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst」は下記です。これに何かを書き加えるだけではダメなのでしょうか？

「sudo cat /media/hda1/grub/menu.lst」

で、見ることができ、title 以下を貼りつけ再起動したら無事FC6を起動することができました。本当にお世話になりました。
