[artful] 勝手にログアウト、または真っ黒背景画面でStop User Managerとなってしまいます

平均的に朝起きてPCの起動ボタンを押し、夜にシャットダウンするような使い方をしてます。
ここ最近、毎朝起動ボタンを押してログインした後、画面が真っ黒になってStop User Managerと出たり、勝手にログアウト状態になってることが多いです。
一度それを経験すると、その日は使い続けることができます。が、凄くこわいです。次の日の朝はまたそれを経験します。
PCはWindows10とUbuntuのデュアルブートにしています。
このような症状は、どのような調査(ログ?)をすれば解決への糸口が見つかりますでしょうか？
ご教示いただきたく、おねがいします。

/var/log/boot.log に apparmor のエラー情報が出てて、そのメッセージに従って必要なディレクトリを作成したら、本症状は本日は出ませんでした。関係あったのでしょうか...
