Ubuntu 20.04にてufwによるポート開放

　社内ネットワークで使用するwebserverを作成しています。webserverからMariaDBへの接続が必要であり、MariaDBをセットアップしたUbuntu 20.04の
サーバーを作成しました。
　MariaDBは問題なくセットアップされ、MariaDBサーバーにセットアップしたApacheからPHPを使用してsserver:localhostでMariaDBにはアクセス可能です。
　外部から接続を使用として、MariaDBのPort 3306を開放しようとしました。
　
やったこと
ufw allow 3306
ufw reload
その後ubuntu自体を再起動させました。

portが開いているか確認を他のマシンからnampをもちいてしたところ

　ポートが開いていないようです。

MariaDBサーバーのconsoleから
telnet ipアドレス　3306でも
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused
となります。

確認したこと

どのように改善したらよいでしょうか。

自己でいろいろ試していたところ
ボートは正しくOpenされていたようで、
MariaDBのbind-addressを設定したら
nmapでも表示されるようになり、接続も可能となりました。

どうもお騒がせしました。

以下のコマンドでプログラム (今回は MariaDB ですね) が想定通りのアドレス:ポート (今回はポート番号 3306) で待ち受けしているかの確認ができます。
bind-address の変更前は 127.0.0.1:3306 (IPv6 だと ::1:3306) だけでの待ち受けだったと思われます。
bind-address を変更した後は 0.0.0.0:3306 (IPv6 だと :::3306) か 192.168.2.253:3306 (IPv6 は省略) での待ち受けになるはずです。
