Ubuntu8.04でwacomタブレットを使用するための設定方法

難しいように説明されていることが多いが初心者の私でも分かってしまえば簡単でした。
一部で紹介されているようにカーネルの再コンパイルは私の環境では必要ありませんでした。
参考にしたのはこのページです。
ここは英語ですけど、細かい設定しようと思えば、見ないといけません。
少し英訳してみましたので見てください。


要約すると、
1.synapticを使用して、wacomを検索→wacom-toolsをインストール。
2.xorg.confに必要項目を追記する.
たったこれだけです。

2.を行うためには、sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.confでgeditを起動させなければいけません。

ちなみに私の環境(intuos3 USB接続）だと
