システム・モニタでファイルシステムとゆうタブをクリックすると毎回システム・モニタが閉じてしまいます。端末では次のようになります。私のPCの場合特別おかしい様です。何か解決方法を教えてください。

とりあえず、sudo gnome-system-monitorで起動するとセーフかもしれません。

使っているパソコンなどの環境によって違いが出てくるのでしょうか？確かに管理者権限で実行すると大丈夫なんですが次のようなエラーが出てしまいます。
GConf エラー: 設定サーバ (gconfd) との接続に失敗しました: いくつか発生する可能性として、ORBit の TCP/IP ネットワークを有効にしていない、あるいはお使いのシステムで古い NFS のロックがクラッシュを引き起こしたことが考えられます。これに関連する情報については http://www.gnome.org/projects/gconf/ を参照して下さい (詳細 - 1: セッションへの接続に失敗しました: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.)

私も初心者で英語もあまり出来ないので解決できずにいます。アップデートか何かで簡単に処理出来ない様でしょうか？

実はUSB外付けハードディスクにFedora10をインストールしているんですがこれをアンマウントしたらUbuntuの方のシステムモニタのファイルシステムのタブからファイルシステムは正常に表示されました。どうやらUSBの外付けハードディスクに入っているFedora10のFile Systemを正常に認識できないのが原因の様です。Fedora10側ではなんともないんだが、Ubuntu8.10の場合この辺が脆弱らしいです。Ubuntu開発チームに何とかして欲しいです。英語が余り出来ないのでどなたか代わりにバグ報告していただけないでしょうか？
