Ubuntu 9.04を使ってるのですが、起動中のアニメーションは出るのですが、その後、CUIログイン画面になり、ログインして、”startx”コマンド等を実行しても、エラーが出て、GUIが起動できません

と表示されます。手打ちなので、間違いが結構あると思います。
GUIが使える時最後にやったと思うことはWikipediaのDL版のxmlのやつをwgetで取得して、クロームで開こうとしたのが多分最後の操作です。

使用しているPCは
SHARP　PC-Z１（netWalker)authority
です。
スペック上800Mhzですが、OCして１Ghzになっています。

だいぶ前の、機種ですが、アドバイスお願いします
